May 29, 2008 – "Counseling and Defending Multi-National Companies on a Global Basis."  The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers' 9th Circuit North Region will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the offices of Paul Hastings, located at 55 Second Street, 24th Floor, San Francisco, beginning at 6:00 pm. Panelists include three internationally respected employment lawyers - Erika C. Collins, Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP, New York City; Gary R. Siniscalco, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, San Francisco; and Alan R. Berkowitz, Bingham McCutchen, LLP, San Francisco.  Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

June 12, 2008 - The next DC/Baltimore Area Regional Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 12th at the offices of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart. Please join us from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for light hors d'oeuvres, drinks and conversation. Since this meeting is being held the night before the next Board of Governors' meeting, Lonny Dolin, our current President, will give a "State of the College" update. In addition, we will view some of the Video History Project subjects taped to date as John Higgins, the project chair, speaks about the current status of the project and how you can participate.

As mentioned, the meeting will be hosted by Ogletree Deakins at their offices in DC - 2400 N Street, NW - Fifth Floor. RSVP's will be necessary for admission to comply with building security and to ensure there is enough food and drink for everyone. Please let Susan Wan know if you have any questions.
