David Borgen represents plaintiffs and employees in complex and class action litigation, including employment discrimination, wage and hour, and attorneys’ fees litigation. He has been lead counsel in numerous state wage and hour class actions brought under California law. Prior to joining the Goldstein firm, he was staff counsel for the Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO.

David Borgen has been selected as “SuperLawyer” in the Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine (2006-2011). He is a member of the Board of Editors of the BNA Fair Labor Standards Act treatise (Second Edition, 2010). He was the first Employee Co-Chair of the ABA’s Federal Labor Standards Legislation Committee. He is also a Senior Editor of the BNA treatise Wage and Hour Laws: A State by State Survey (2005).
