Debra Millenson is a solo practitioner primarily providing advice and representation to government contractors with respect to their special non-discrimination and affirmative action obligations under Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and 38 U.S.C. §4212, and counseling them in preparing for and undergoing OFCCP reviews She has nearly 40 years of experience litigating and counseling on a broad range of employment and diversity issues.

Professional Honors and Achievements

Deb Millenson is an active participant in the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law.  She has been a presenter in a number of ABA Continuing Legal Education programs and, most recently, moderated their program on the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.  Deb has served as co-chair of both the Equal Opportunity in the Profession Committee and the Continuing Legal Education Subcommittee devoted to national institutes and meetings.  For the past three years she has been the program co-chair for the Washington Region of the ABA Labor and Employment Section’s annual law student trial advocacy competition.  Presently she is the Co-Executive Editor of Employment Discrimination Law (BNA), the leading treatise in the field

Since her election in 1997 as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Deb has served as Co-Chair of the Credentials Committee for the DC Circuit, Co-Chair of the Speakers Committee and Co-Chair of the Committee on Ethics and Professionalism (which developed the Principles of Civility and Professionalism to which all Fellows agree to adhere),
