Cynthia E. Nance (Cyndi), is Dean Emeritus and Nathan G. Gordon Professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law and serves as the law school’s Director of Pro Bono and Community Engagement She teaches Labor Law, Employment Law, Workplace Legislation and Poverty Law. Professor Nance’s articles appear in journals including the Iowa Law Review, Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law, Iowa Law Review, Rutgers Law Review, and Brandeis Law Review.

Professional Affiliations

Professor Nance is a former voting member of the Council member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Labor and Employment Law (LEL) Section (2006-2014) and currently serves as an ex-officio member and represents the LEL Section in the ABA House of Delegates (2012-2018). Nance is a council member of the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admission to the Bar (2012-2018). Professor Nance is an elected member of the American Law Institute (2007). She is a Fellow of the American (2007) and Arkansas Bar Foundations, and an elected member of The Labor Law Group, and serves on its executive committee.
Nance is a former chair of the Association of American Law Schools’ Labor and Employment Law (2001) and Employment Discrimination (2002) sections, and served on the boards of National Association for Law Placement Foundation Board (2007-2016) and Law School Admissions Council (2005-2008; 2011-2013) and is a member of National Hispanic, Native American and National Asian Pacific American Bar Associations.

Peter W. Zinober is a labor and employment lawyer specializing in the defense of employment discrimination cases in state and federal court, both jury and non-jury, as well as wage and hour, disability discrimination, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, and other whistleblower defense, age and all other types of employment litigation.
